Thank you for your interest in Corvallis Mountain Rescue Unit. We encourage you to come meet us and participate in our activities. After you have attended a meeting or two, you are invited to inquire about and submit a membership application. The Benton County Sheriff's Office will run a required background check on you prior to your meeting with the Executive Board for an interview.

    In addition to obtaining the required equipment, you will be expected to pay annual dues which are currently $15.00. A portion of this goes toward our membership in MRA (Mountain Rescue Association). We also require new members to obtain a copy of Mountaineering: Freedom of the Hills, the Mountaineers, publishers.
    The Unit members currently use personal cell phones for notification of unit activations.
